Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there.

Today is also very special because we have had a confluence of national media land in our area of operations. Getty Images, Stars and Stripes (which, while a DOD-owned publication, is still very independent-minded), Chicago Tribune, Agence France Press, Michael Yon.

As these guys start putting out material I will link to it for easy surfin'.

I've been seeing information on the great progress you all are making in the region on CNN and in the larger newspapers in our area. I love the fact that there is finally some wonderful news coming out of Iraq via the mainstream media!! Keep up the good work you and your fellow Marines are doing. You're always in my prayers.
